Born on June 25, 1925, in New York City, actress June Lockhart turns 86 today. The daughter of character actor Gene Lockhart, she is best remembered for her roles as Timmy's mother, Ruth Martin, on "Lassie" from 1958 to 1964; Dr. Maureen Robinson on "Lost in Space" from 1965 to 1968; and Dr. Janet Craig on "Petticoat Junction" from 1968 to 1970.
