Despite his reluctance and misgivings, a civil engioneer and his fiancée buy a large trailer home so that they can save money that would otherwise be spent on a house and also be able to travel around the country to various projects that he is working on. The honeymoon trip to the Sierra Nevada mountains rapidly becomes a series of disasters including his new bride's attempts to cook dinner in a moving, rocking trailer.
