When the client of a young woman working as a hostess in a club run by a ruthless gangster is murdered, she at first refuses to cooperate with the prosecutor and the gangster is acquitted. When one of the gangster's thugs kills her sister she decides to talk and is beaten into difigurement; at her bedside all the hostesses agree to testify.
